Joanna McMinn

I have over 35 years of working in organisations with a background in adult education, community development and organisational development. I have been a development worker, a manager, and a Chief Executive, as well as a consultant, in the NGO and not-for-profit sectors. During my career, I have undertaken extensive training in group dynamics, facilitation and organisational development, from the perspective of gestalt practice in organisations.

I would like to extend my repertoire as a consultant and develop my knowledge and expertise in supporting other cohousing groups, including my own, Belfast Cohousing Cooperative. I am particularly interested in implementing sociocratic systems and tools in my own group, and supporting cohousing groups who are keen to inform their processes using Sociocracy. I believe the mentoring with SoFA will be particularly valuable in my professional development in this context.
