Description
SOCIS is a European project funded by the Erasmus+ Programme. Its goal is to support the development of sociocracy in schools. We already finished the first phase of research In the presentation we will first give an overview of the project and then will present the research report. Afterwards we open the stage for discussion. Finally we will give details about the next steps in the project, which are online free workshops.
Bios
Werner Kratochwil is a sociocratic expert from Austria. He has a great interest in bringing sociocracy into politics and has organized the 1st sociocracy&politics conference in 2019 in Austria. Furthermore he is very interested in supporting sociocracy in schools, which brought him to the SOCIS (Sociocracy in schools) project.
Martina Paone is the co-founder of QUEST – an European network that promotes quality education for sustainable social transformation. She works mostly in Belgium and Italy to promote democratic, respectful and inclusive education.
