Pamela Alsum

Pam Alsum is currently a supporting member of SoFA. She self-taught in sociocracy for a few years, and is in training formally now through SoFA 2022 Academy. In addition to her work as a physician and many avocations, she has participated for nearly 5 years in a nonprofit organization (madisonstreetmedicine.org) which uses sociocracy for their governance. There she volunteers as a resource for sociocracy knowledge, skills, and training. She is working on broadening her base of practice in this area to her wider communities. She is available for conversations about sociocracy in general and her experience in a nonprofit organization using it. She values promoting and training in sociocracy as a hopeful way to encourage a more participatory society, where individual voices make a difference for our communities. Participation in organizations using sociocratic methods is more fun! And training in the methods multiplies the efficacy; thus she is obtaining SoFA certification in Training.
