Building Trust While Developing Community Policies
Watch the recording:
Treehouse Village Ecohousing is finishing construction and looking to move in together. In doing that, we need to create policies and guidelines to support community living. In this session, I’ll describe the process we followed to build trust while creating common house and governance policies that apply to the entire community.
Rebecca Hogue is a member of Treehouse Village Ecohousing in Bridgewater Nova Scotia Canada. Initially, she led the Community Life Circle. She is now leading the Governance Department Circle and a Subcircle responsible for developing common house policies. Professionally, she teaches Instructional Design online at the University of Massachusetts-Boston and is the host of the podcast Demystifying Instructional Design.
