Just a friendly reminder about our 7th Annual Sociocracy Conference happening tomorrow! 🎉 This year’s theme is “The Interrelated Nature of Sociocracy,” where we’ll dive into how governance brings people, intentions, and actions together. Sociocracy helps us interact better, aligning our actions with our goals and fostering harmony among us all.

✏️ Circle reports

The International Circle is moving forward with the Multilingual Academy Circle, set to meet next week. They are refining the network model and planning an in-person retreat for November.

Sotalia is preparing a proposal to merge three groups, having completed the feedback phase.

SoPra is reviewing their objectives for October 2023 to March 2024. They are learning about the Network Model with help from Rhonda and Thomas, and have started a new Intentional Communities sub-circle. They are planning their 2024 Annual Conference in October, translating booklets into Spanish, launching a new certification program, and organizing various trainings for May and June. They are also seeking two new grants while managing last year’s projects.

SoTes is discussing a new structure, exploring certification, and studying publishers and funding options.

SoFra completed officer performance reviews and is finalizing the French version of the MVOS, expected by May-June. The Content Circle is discussing the value of volunteer work.

The Content Circle is working on website ownership clarity and will ask subcircles to propose transitions to a new model.

The Training Circle continues with network, Academy, and regular classes. Org Support is distributing tasks and planning a consulting model.

Web Content Publishing is rearranging roles, planning to become a community of practice, updating the landing page, publishing community events, and redesigning sales and training pages.

The Website Circle is maintaining an additional network website, training Samara, and addressing website issues. They proposed moving to the IT circle and are working on resource efficiency.

SoFA Support Services reviewed department proposals, generating many questions.

The Financial Wellbeing Circle is developing value propositions for the network’s business model.

Lastly, the Intentional Communities Circle announced a conference on November 23, 2024, and an Oceania webinar on June 12/13.
