Sociocracy Training and Consulting for Low Resource Organizations

Sociocracy for All is committed to making sociocracy accessible to everyone.

We aim to provide training and consultancy even to organizations with very limited budgets. To make this possible, we connect low-resource organizations with our pool of qualified trainers and consultants-in-training.

How does our low-cost sociocracy training and consulting work?

Many of our program trainers and consultants have years of experience and are currently working on obtaining their certifications. They volunteer to work with organizations who might otherwise not have the means to work with a consultant.

What’s the cost?

  • Each organization receiving services under this program will pay an administrative fee of $50 USD + a variable contribution.
  • There’s an initial meeting to get to know you and determine the needs and a plan. The first 30 minutes of this meeting have no cost.
  • The initial package will consist of 6 hours of training and/or consulting.
  • The cost of the initial phase is: $50 admin fee + 6hrs of training/consulting+ half of the initial meeting and will be invoiced within 2 weeks after we have an agreement of the services you will receive.
  • Please refer to the tables below for the suggested contributions, however, the actual contribution is negotiated once we meet.
  • Please keep in mind that we already offer our services on a sliding-scale, so if you can pay under the regular sliding scale fee please do so. We aim to provide this service to organizations who cannot afford even the lowest tier in our regular sliding scale.

Low-cost governance support

Our affordable sociocracy support program usually involves some training to your group plus consulting with your governance or implementation team. The level of support that you receive will be determined together once we meet with you.

Low-cost training

We can offer you our standard training (refer to the training page for the structure and content) or customize a training to your needs.

  • 1.5 hr: $50 – $200
  • 4 hr: $200 – $500
  • 6 hr: $280 – $700
  • 8 hr: $360 – $910
  • 10 hr: $440 – 1100

Low-cost consulting

Our consulting is centered around supporting you with your sociocracy implementation and can include observing and/or facilitating meetings for you, Q&A session for your organization, giving you guidance with your circle structure and governance documents.

  • Sliding scale: $35 – $75 p/hr

What’s the process?

  1. Submit the application below.
  2. If approved, you will meet with us and your trainer/consultant to discuss your needs. You and the trainer/consultant will come up with a plan. We will come up with a financial agreement based on the services you will get.
  3. Submit your administration fee + your variable contribution.
  4. If you wish to continue working with the trainer/consultant beyond the initial agreement or once we determine that the services provided under the low-cost training and consulting program have ended, then a new agreement will need to be negotiated. However, the initial financial agreement (same fee and contribution) is not guaranteed and a different fee could apply.
