Description
We are four cooperatives in Turkey, all governed by sociocracy. Our intention is to create a circular system with an innovative approach to inter-cooperative solidarity and cooperation applications, and develop a sustainable business model based on employment for individuals with fewer opportunities. Our roles will be Şirince Koop for agricultural production, Turna Koop for processing agricultural products, Yaren Koop for project planning and documentation of the processes and Kadim Koop contributes with Research & Development studies for innovative products – its members are all powerful business women so they will also contribute by offering network and sales channels.
In our workshop we will share how these cooperatives implement sociocracy in their organisations and how they plan to implement it between cooperatives in this circular system. In general, a project circle will be created in every cooperative. Secondly, these four project circles will create a general project circle and methods will be developed. Şirince Koop and Yaren Koop will explain how they implement sociocratic government in their organizations, Turna will share two case studies and Kadim will share another case study.
