Hello Members,

Hello members,

The world outside our windows is chaotic, and it’s seeping into our daily routines. Staring at our computer screens, trying to maintain a semblance of normalcy, feels oddly disconnected. Questions about the value of our tasks in the midst of all this turmoil naturally arise.

We’re not an organization that just goes with the flow, but we are a group that can adapt and support one another. Let’s hear each other out, make our meetings and tasks more adaptable, and navigate this together.

Best,

SoFA member Adrian Zarif is organizing the “AZ Sociocracy Journey” training, a 10-week exploration into the world of sociocracy. He meticulously curated a series of 10+ sessions, each lasting approximately 100 minutes (including a 10-minute check-out). In total, the journey will span over 1000 minutes of immersive learning.

Key Details:

  • Sessions: Mondays, 14:00 UTC to 15:45 UTC
  • Start Date: October 30th
  • Format: Interactive virtual sessions
  • Cohort Size: Limited to 12 participants

During these sessions, participants will delve deep into sociocracy principles and practices. The journey culminates in an engaging AMA (Ask Me Anything) session, where you can inquire about anything related to sociocracy.

Can AI change sociocracy?

I was chatting with a friend who works in tech. He told me about this cool AI tool their company uses for meetings. It takes detailed notes, highlighting important stuff and even planning the next steps. It got me thinking – will we still need secretaries in the future?

Also, how do you think AI will change how we run things like sociocracy and other ways organizations are managed? I’m really curious about your ideas! Share your thoughts in the forum and let’s talk about it together.
