The Six Thinking Hats of Edward de Bono present a series of lenses to consider a situation/issue (ranging from facts, emotions & feelings, cautions, the plus side, creative options, to big picture). Applying these lens’ to picture-forming rounds provides a creative, thorough and ‘whole-brain’ analysis, from which meaningful proposals can be drawn. This session takes a brief look at each of de Bono’s six hats, and consider their contribution to holistic and thorough picture-forming.
