Bolette Nyrop

A mother, world citizen, Master of Political Science and former diplomat, I focus, as an independent change agent and consultant, on cultivating a practice and culture of shared responsibility and decisionmaking as a path to evoking the personal and collective leadership needed to face our current challenges and create a beautiful world. My calling is to inspire and co-create transition to a sustainable, fair and lively world. We need each other in order to make tough decisions on changing our lifestyle, spot and imagine the beauty and freedom of other ways of living and build community and enhance our sense of belonging. As a civil servant and later a social entrepreneur I have experienced both hierarchical organizations and co-creative communities. I see sociocracy as a powerful approach to distributed empowerment, a holistic perspective, community, evolutionary purpose and innovation capacity. I wish to contribute to sociocracy growing and unleashing potential in workplaces, education and communities.
