Lea Shani

My Name is Lea Shani, I am a passionate community builder and activist, exploring new ways that we can come together, bring social change and envision the future of the society we wanna be part of.
I am a trained facilitator of the ecovillage design education, was the founding member of major community projects in Israel, was running a healing center for transformational work in Thailand and in the last two years since Covid I have been collaborating to provide a support system to women facing the pandemic of domestic violence.
I am currently a working member of SoFA, holding the roles of International circle leader and Localization guide, where I feel very lucky for the opportunity to deepen and evolve my knowledge of sociocracy through our shared experience in the “SoFA Lab” while supporting other language/local circles to spread Sociocracy in different languages and cultures.
My personal drive has been to bring Sociocracy into the Hebrew speaking world as the leader of SoFHe סופי (sociocracyforall.org/he/).

I am located in the south of Portugal, the freelance mother of 2 amazing kids, offering Sociocracy training and implementation in English, Hebrew and some Portuguese.
