Sociocracy for All’s mission is to make resources for learning and implementing sociocracy accessible to everyone. One of the ways we work to fulfill this mission is by creating accessible, educational and inspirational materials about sociocracy.

The content we publish is intended to:
- provide a deeper explanation of sociocracy concepts
- share real-life examples of implementation experiences
- provide answers to frequently asked questions
- explore the subject of sociocracy in the wider context of social justice
- examine applications of sociocracy in specialized areas or sectors
Audience
Our audience is made up of people who are:
- brand new to the concepts of sociocracy,
- self-study self-implementers,
- new or long-time members of sociocratic organizations,
- starting or interested in starting sociocratic organizations, and
- those who have been training and consulting in sociocracy for years.
No matter their level of exposure to sociocracy, our audience cares about social justice, inclusion and environmental concerns, and most tend to accept that change in our world is needed and desirable. We are looking for articles that will engage these readers on relevant topics at any stage of their sociocracy experience.
Writing Style

The language in your article should be accessible. We are looking for a conversational voice, similar to how you might share information with your peers or colleagues. If you are writing about a more specified or in-depth topic, we encourage you to give a brief introduction to the concepts before diving deeper. At the same time, we aren’t looking for purely instructional documents. We want to know what your revelations and insights are on the subject. As you explore concrete concepts, relate it to elements of your personal experience.
- What inspires you most about sociocracy?
- How have you seen your workplace change or improve with sociocracy?
- What gives you hope for creating a more equitable and just world?
- How do you apply decision-making and facilitation tools in your practice of sociocracy?
- What positive changes have you witnessed in your organization, community, or self as a result of practicing sociocracy?
Formatting
Sociocracy for All has developed a specific online formatting style and all articles submitted for publishing will be edited to fit this style. Please do not submit articles with complex formatting, fancy fonts, or other heavily pre-formatted elements.
When you submit your article, please do include:
- a featured image for the article that will be displayed as a thumbnail with the article link (with artist’s name, if available)
- images or photos you would like posted in the article (with artist’s name, if available)
- tables or graphs you would like posted in the article
Authors are welcome to re-share their published articles on other sites or social media. We simply request that you include a link to the original article post from our website.
Submission Review Process
When you submit your article, it will go through a two-stage process of review. In the first stage, your article is received and reviewed on the basis of content and relevancy. From here, if your article is selected for publication on the site, we begin the editing and formatting stage. The editor will contact you to notify you of any changes or request or suggest changes, as needed. Then your article will be posted to the site and you will be notified.
