Presentation of the board game on self-management: Is there a leader present?
Description
The board game “Is there a leader present?” is co-developed between the consultancy company VACCS and the IT department of the Technical University of Denmark with the support from Copenhagen Gamelab. The aim of the board game is to give an insight in the different dilemmas that needs to be handled when transforming your organization to self-management. The players are presented with different options on how to handle the dilemmas which will give them an understanding of how to work with self-management.
The overall game techniques will be displayed during the presentation and selected dilemmas with corresponding actions will be shown to give an understanding of how the board game works.
The aim of the presentation is to get an idea of how the board game functions to see if it can be relevant in your organization.

Bio
Maria Friis Larsen and Lise Lotte Wolff have both been leaders in big public and private companies for many years. For the past three years they have been consultants in their own company VACCS. The purpose of their work is to create a good worklife for humans and the future. In the aim to learn from courageous organizations that have choosen to go the self-management way Lise Lotte og Maria have interviewed 15 Danish organizations and it has resulted in a book that is just been publised in Denmark.
