Bio: Miriam is known as a thought leader in the area of transformational education, cultural change, and leadership. Adam is an educator, facilitator and organizational consultant with a background in executive leadership. We are Open Circle is people and organizational development for the 21st century.

Description: Living dynamic systems survive and thrive with change. A central tension in human systems is our resistance to necessary and unavoidable change. This tension cannot be solved by applying technical solutions, like sociocratic systems. We will look at a case-study of a failed sociocratic implementation, and what it showed us about power, ownership, and cultural shadow.
