Co-creating regenerative settlements with sociocracy (Rachel Butler, Caroline Jeffrey)

 

Bio: Rachel Butler is the Founder of Tiny House Community Bristol and on the Board of Directors. She is passionate about joining the dots in a systems thinking way, to help create genuinely affordable regenerative places.
Caroline Jeffery is a THCB volunteer fascinated by sociocracy, and has based her MSc thesis on her work as leader of the Dreamocracy circle, aiming to support sociocracy within the organisation.

Description: Tiny House Community Bristol, UK, are a group of volunteers dedicated to tackling Bristol’s housing, climate and ecological crises through creating community-led Tiny House settlements that regenerate nature and community. This talk will cover how we have found sociocracy to be a great fit for our organisational mission, the lessons learned implementing sociocracy and the current challenges we are facing.
